Kerabu bawang is a crunchy, slightly spicy and tart salad. Serve as an appertizer or with nasi lemak.

3 large onions;sliced and slightly pounded
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon chilli powder
1/4 teaspoon paprika powder
1 tablespoon dried mango powder(amchur)
5 sprigs coriander leaves;chopped
juice of 1 large lime
3 firm red tomatoes;skinned,seeded and chopped
black pepper to taste


Method of preparation:

In a large bowl put pounded onion slices. Next,add salt, chilli powder, black pepper, paprika powder, amchur, chopped coriander leaves, chopped tomatoes and lime juice. Mix well and toss. Chill. Serve as appertizer or with nasi lemak.
